The yellow, blue and white quilt is getting some borders.
These blocks will be 4" finished.
Socks of the week with half fisherman's rib in two colours. The rib is thick and warm and nice. Socks for a fashionable young girl who goes out with bare ankles even in cold weather.
Knitted in Schachenmayr's Regia 4-ply wool, perfect for socks you want to wear with regular shoes.
Our tiny strawberries. I get a handful every day, from the end of July to mid September.
Ulla, your socks look so warm and snuggly. They would be beautiful to keep cold ankles warm. How lucky having strawberries from July to September. Of course here in NZ we haven't planted ours yet but they aren't far away. Yum
ReplyDeleteNice border blocks, lovely socks and yummy strawberries...
ReplyDeleteWonderful blocks and knitting Ulla..
ReplyDeleteStrawberries are always welcome and lovely !
I'm really looking forward to seeing your new top! I'm going to start knitting soon, it seems like summer is already waving goodbye...Strawberries until September, what a treat!
ReplyDeleteLovely socks with a decorative edge. The border is going to look really good with the finished centre. Delicious looking strawberries. We are starting apples, still have blackberries and rhubarb, but Autumn is definitely in the air.
ReplyDeleteWell the fashionable girl will be so very stylish in her beautiful new handmade goodness, and she'll be a bit warmer too perhaps.
