My new warm winter beanie, a "mummopipo". Granny fashion. Alpaca wool yarn together with a wool/acrylic mohair style yarn. Just waiting for cold weather to come back.
That brim sure does look like it would make a nice warm hat. I made Maili a beret out of alpaca wool and she ended up losing it on the streetcar. Needless to say, I won't spend that kind of money on a hat that I'd give away again.
