This morning we woke up to a sstarry clear sky and the second cold temperature of the Autumn, -5C or 23F. By the time we had read the newpapers and finished our morning tea there was snow on the ground.
I had to wait until the sun was up behind the clouds before I could take the photos.
The snowing had stopped but the temperature has stayed the same.
The leaves are waiting under the snow.
Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing. The quilt on the top is so nice with the different stars. Have a ice weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty. The first snow always does. I remember. Thankyou for sharing your photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful first snow; very calm it looks. Woke up to - 2.6 so you did beat me! Happy Sewing :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is colder here but not snowing yet. They are forcasting -2c this week in the NE and Scotland with snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Is the snow early for you?
Such a pretty snow, Ulla! Everything looks so neat and tidy. Maybe the leaves will do a disappearing act under the snow ;>)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Bring on the warm quilts, the fireplace and tea. We had a change in weather too. Two days ago the wind came from Zahara and Marocco. Then yesterday it changed direction and now it comes from Stavanger. Very, very cold.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful but I don't envy you the cold weather. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh, no snow yet please! I can feel the cold :-))

ReplyDeleteI sure hope we get snow this winter. We haven't had any yet and I'm ready for it!
Last winter was nearly snowless, and that isn't good for THIS part of the world!
Brrrr...we're having an odd mixture of a hurricane off the eastern coast possibly collide with a cold air mass coming from the west. The weather forecasters are clever, calling it a Frankenstorm, due to hit on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteSomehow missed this post. So, it is actually freezing and snowing with you. It does look beautiful ... and cold brrrr
ReplyDeleteWe had some lovely warm days last week, lots of rain on Friday and this weekend lots of sun and .... cold brrrrrr.
Did you get more snow?
The winter is there....The photos are beautiful, but the temperature!...Sending you warm thoughts!
